Rhomco was instructed by the Landlord of a 55,000sq/ft head-quarters office building in Cardiff to prepare and serve a dilapidations claim on their tenant who had been in occupation since 1999. As part of the agreed strategy, we specified, competitively tendered and monitored the reinstatement works through to completion. We subsequently lodged an updated claim with the former Tenant, presented in a logical manner with a clear separation between the ‘dilapidations’ and ‘betterment’ costs, and with all of the necessary M&E validation testing properly documented, and successfully negotiated settlement.
