Rhomco was instructed to act for a Sub-Tenant at the end of their 35 year lease of a semi-detached industrial unit in St Albans, advised on their terminal dilapidations liability, and subsequently negotiated settlement of the claim with both the Intermediate and Superior Landlord. In conjunction with the client’s solicitor, we also advised on the terms of a tri-party settlement agreement and in relation to the completion of certain works by lease expiry. Our involvement, recommended exit strategy and application of appropriate dilapidations law, resulted in significant savings for the client.
